Inherited a stamp collection?

Uncle Morty died and his stamp collection has fallen into your hands. First thing you want to do is read this advice from the Virtual Stamp Club.

The second thing you want to do is find out what Morty was doing to collect his stamps.

• Did he regularly spent $1,000 or more a year on his collection?
• Was it comprised of stamps off the mail that arrived at home?
• Was he buying new issues at the post office?

1. If Morty fits the first category above, contact one of the clubs shown here. His collection may be known to others in the community.
2. The second category indicates you should find a youth charity.
3. Finally the new issues means your family has postage for the next few decades; its value is 30% of face.
